Newcastle vikings

Ages 19+

Established in 2012, the Vikings are an adult contact American Football team, competing in the Premier Division North, which is the highest level of football in the UK. The team train and play all their home game at Druid Park, Newcastle upon Tyne.

North East Academy of American Football

Ages 13 - 19
Established in 2018, the Giants programme runs two teams – Youth (U16) and Junior (U19), with both teams training and playing their home tournaments at Druid Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. Giants Youth (U16) offers 5-a-side full contact American Football for players aged 13 years and above, competing in the U16 North A Division. Giants Junior (U19) offers 7-a-side full contact American Football for players aged 16 years and above, competing in the Division Two North.

Newcastle shieldmaidens

AGES 16 AND OVER
Established in 2020, the Shield Maidens are a womens only contact American Football Team, competing in the NWFL Division One North for the first time in 2022. The team train and play their home tournaments at Druid Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. They offer 7-a-side full contact American Football for female players aged 16 years and above.
